Hi Miriam

I had a nice break thanks. How about you?

I agree that it is unfair to ban Valentine's for kids but that story shows how political correctness is out of control in the UK.

Did you hear the story about how a company couldn't adevertise for a hard-working, reliable person because it would discriminate against those that are lazy and unreliable? The world has gone mad.

I'm very impressed. You did this exercise really well.

1. His silence was as good as an ADMISSION of guilt.

5. Have you got any SUGGESTIONS where I can go this weekend?

10. You can make such ACCUSATIONS (THREATS is ok too) if you haven´t got any proof.

12. Tuesday - capital letter!

See you later.

Impressed you? I think it´s impossible.

Thank you,my break was short, but it was a nice break too.

You are right that it takes a lot to impress me but in this case I am impressed with your work.

Marta's work is equally impressive.
Just:
1. an ADMISSION of guilt
8. for ADVICE (uncountable)

I think I am a reliable person. Don't you think so?!
Hard working is, at times, debateable.

10. You CAN'T make such accusationS if you haven't got any proof.

Let's just say it's a typing error.

Hi Lucía,

2. a weather warning - a warning is when you tell sb to be careful, there is some kind of danger.

3. issued a denial - do politicians ever admit their guilt? Mind you, Hollande hasn't denied having an affair with the actress. But he hasn't explained anything either. Wasn't Aznar accused of having an affair with a French politician? Was there any truth in it?

5. I think suggestion fits better.

7. ... it will be the most important decision I have ever taken.

8. ... a problem... for advice.

10. You *can't make such accusations if you haven't got any proof. * a typo - I had written "can" when I should have written "can't".

All the others are correct.

Well done!
