Stand By Me

When the night has come
And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light we see
No I won't be afraid
No I won't be afraid
Just *as long as you stand, stand by me

And darling, darling stand by me
Oh, now, now, stand by me
Stand by me, stand by me

If the sky that we look upon
Should tumble and fall
And the mountain should crumble to the sea
I won't cry, I won't cry
No I won't shed a tear
Just as long as you stand, stand by me

And darling, darling stand by me
Oh, stand by me
Stand by me, stand by me, stand by me

Whenever you're in trouble won't you stand by me
Oh, now, now, stand by me
Oh, stand by me, stand by me, stand by me

Darling, darling stand by me
Stand by me
Oh stand by me, stand by me, stand by me

Hi Graham,

“Stand by me”

I love this song. In my opinion, this song is like the original one by Ben E. King, but I prefer this version because who sings is Mr. Lennon. I love The Beatles. They were the best and one of the most important group in the world. I admit that I standing in that period even. I adore living in that era when I was young. I’m so sorry that John Lennon was murdered by a mad fun. It’s another event without sense. What was the reason for that he had to die? I won’t understand it ever.

This song is short but it’s good and beautiful. We don’t need any more. I enjoy when I listen: “Darling, darling…” It sounds very well. When the moon is the only light we see, we won’t be afraid. When the night has come, we will have got music and songs. Auld Lang Syne.

See you.

P. S. Congratulations on your new blog, but I have wasted half an hour looking for the year 2009.

Hi J,

I will never forget your rendition of "Yellow Submarine". :D
