What a long time, Graham!
It´s a little tough to do this kind of crossword here with the burning temperature...
It took me more than I had wanted to solve the twelfth. Is it the UK commmon ending for every double past participle choice?

Best wishes.

Hi everyone!

Greetings from Inverness.

I'm more than half way through my stay here and I am enjoying my break from Madrid. Let's see how I feel when I have to leave.

I haven't really been able to access the blog as there is no signal from my home.

I will reply to your comments when I am in Spain (towards the end of Aug).

I hope you are all having a wonderful summer - as I am.

Well done Lucía!

11. Get burnt. I'm only too familiar with it. :-)

I did the summer puzzle and the only one I didn't get was 11.

Hi Anonymous,

I wish I knew who you were. Your style of speaking rings a bell. :-)

It's been ages (since we last saw each other).

It´s a little tough to do this kind of crossword here with this baking heat.
It took me longer than I had hoped to solve 12 across.

Is it the UK commmon ending for every "double past participle choice"?

I'm not sure what you mean.

"burnt" in this case would be an adjective. The participle of burn is burned or burnt. Sometimes you can have both regular and irregular participles.

Help me solve the puzzle of who you are. LOL
