Childhood - Used to / Would

I would only have butter on toast when it was melted and I would pick out the orange-rind from the marmalade.
I am still as fussy now as I was then, when it comes to meat and fish. I won't eat anything that has bone, fat or blood in it. If it looks like the animal, I won't touch it. (Update: I have turned vegetarian since this post was written.)
I used to have a computer called a ZX Spectrum. I think I got it when I was around 12 years old. I used to play a lot of computer games but my favourite was one called Horace and the Spiders. Children nowadays have Wii and Playstation but back in my day we had to load the games by cassette. Imagine my shock when I saw the ZX Spectrum in a museum, and that was around 12 years ago!
I used to have curly hair and I hated it. It also used to be redder than it is now. I much prefer the receding hair that I have now.
I used to play the piano. I liked it at first but when I realized that I had to practise most days, I didn't like it so much. I can't play it now and that makes me annoyed.
I used to go birdwatching when I was a child. I loved going to the countryside with my binoculars. I would like to take it up again.
We never used to go on holiday as a family. If we had a holiday, my brother would go somewhere with my father and I'd go somewhere with my mother. I remember when I went for a few days to the Orkney Islands in the North with my mum. It was fantastic for me because they are islands which has an abundance of wildlife.

I used to go on holidays to Laredo. I would be with all my family: grandparents, uncles, cousins,.. I would to go to the beach every days to late, because we used to eat there, although would eat in a restaurant sometimes. I used to like swim in the sea when there was many waved. It was very funny. We would buy floats and other games to play with them into the sea.
I didn't used to eat the healthy food. I used to eat chocolat, biscuits, sweets,... I was a naughty girl that I wouldn't eat so much . I wouldn't eat vegetables, only a bit of fruit when my parents or grandparents forced me.
Uufff.... I don't sure. I was very naughty and headstrong. I didn't used to pay attention to the teacher, I always was distracted. But I would have good notes, rarelly i layed off.

When I was a child I used to be a greedy. I would eat everything but I used to take time to eat fish and vegetables, I did`t like them. My favorite meal was eggs with french fries but my mother did`t allow me eat a lot.
I used to have a regular bedtime but I still remember how frightened I was. I used to be afraid of clowns and some dolls. At night I had horrible nightmares. I'd run to my parents' bed some nights.
I used to play with barbies, I'd have a dollhouse and a lot of dresses, shoes and accessories to play with them. Afterwards my grandmother bought me a Nintendo, I used to play Tetris and Mario Bros but I would play only weekends. I had a dog and we used to be together every day. He would be with me when I did my homework, played with my toys... But he used to sleep in the kitchen.
I used to have really long hair and I loved it. Now I prefer the shorter hair, is more comfortable.
I used to wear uniform at school, I liked it which was bit average. I used to work hard and got good notes in my exams but not in mathematics, I was very bad and I'd have a teacher at home.
