selfish - egoista Hoggish exists but I think it is uncommon as an adjective. To hog something = to take or use more than your share of something. A roadhog is somebody who thinks that they own the road.
a magician = un mago / charming - encantador
confident (sure of your abilities) - seguro
excitable (gets excited easily) - excitable
