An interview with Little Nicolás

Spain's 'high-society scammer' breaks silence

A 20-year-old student who infiltrated the inner circles of Spanish business and politics before being accused of a string of deception charges has claimed that he was arrested because he "knew too much".

Francisco Nicolás Gómez Iglesias, popularly known in Spain as "Little Nicolás", was arrested in October on suspicion of swindling, forging documents and impersonating public officials.

Despite not holding any official public position, he had managed to meet and be photographed with members of the royal family, including King Felipe VI, and politicians in Spain's ruling Popular Party such as former Prime Minister José María Aznar.

Hi Graham

The managers of crickets of Spain got to meet in the center of Madrid. The meeting was very strong because crickets didn’t have good harvest last year. They blamed to the moon because lighted up less to Spain than to other countries. It’s a lawful discrimination, we can’t allow, said crickets. Crickets decided to do a demonstration and they went at midnight through the center of Madrid.

Suddenly, the Earth stopped and began to spin in the contrary sense. The night came before the day, the summer came before the spring, the sunset arrived before the sunrise and everything was in a mess. “We need to search another planet” several crickets said. “No, it’s impossible because there oxygen is not in the other planets” some crickets said. After two months, they realized that the moon was in the sea. It was the reflection of the moon, but crickets were upset and didn’t see beyond. Crickets extracted all water of the sea and it was dry, then, crickets watched to the sky and they saw that the moon was in its place -as always- and the Earth recovered its movement in the contrary sense of the watch. (It´s cryptic).

See you.

Hi Graham, I have read this article and I remember that Little Nicolas made a profound impression on me and perhaps on most of spanish people.
Last week , I read an article about a similar person in Italy, the journalist called him the Little Nicolas italian but I don´t remember his name. For example, he was photographed with Real Madrid team when Sergio Ramos was lifting the cup to the sky of Milan in the Giussepe Meazza stadium.

Hi José,

I've been reading about Italy's Little Nicolas or should we say Piccolo Gaspare (Gaspare Galasso). It was very clever how he managed to gate-crash major sporting events but he doesn't have a patch on the original Nicolas.

Both I'm sure will go far in life with the minimum effort.
