Winehouse booed by angry concert-goers

They tried to make her go to rehab - and she did.

But perhaps Amy Winehouse should’ve stay in rehab a little longer.

How would you have reacted if you had seen her give such a performance?

Why do you think so many stars have to go to rehab?

Have you ever been to a concert that you didn't enjoy? Why?

Amy Winehouse tour pulled so she can 'sort herself out' Amy

Winehouse has cancelled all her scheduled shows on her European tour, her spokesman has confirmed.

A statement said she would be given "as long as it takes" to sort herself out.

It follows her 90-minute comeback performance in Serbia at the weekend at which she was booed and jeered at the start of her European tour.

The singer initially pulled out of two festival shows in Turkey yesterday and in Greece tomorrow (22 June) but now all her gigs have been pulled.

Her tour, which was originally scheduled to include 12 performances, had been due to continue in Bilbao, Spain, on 8 July.

The full statement said: "Amy Winehouse is withdrawing from all scheduled performances.

"Everyone involved wishes to do everything they can to help her return to her best and she will be given as long as it takes for this to happen."

The singer, 27, has had a long battle with drink and drugs which has overshadowed her music career in recent years. In the run-up to her live return, she spent a week at London's Priory clinic.

Winehouse told Newsbeat in October that she had been drug-free for three years.

Amy Winehouse's breakthrough second album, 2006's Back to Black, won her five Grammy Awards and brought her worldwide stardom

The singer has not released any new music since then but has collaborated with the likes of Mark Ronson and ex-Sugababe Mutya Buena.

Amy Winehouse - Rehab

They tried to make me go to rehab but I said 'no, no, no'
Yes I've been black but when I come back you'll know know know
I ain't got the time and if my daddy thinks I'm fine
He's tried to make me go to rehab but I won't go go go

I'd rather be at home with ray
I ain't got seventy days
Cause there's nothing
There's nothing you can teach me
That I can't learn from Mr Hathaway

I didn't get a lot in class
But I know it don't come in a shot glass

They tried to make me go to rehab but I said 'no, no, no'
Yes I've been black but when I come back you'll know know know
I ain't got the time and if my daddy thinks I'm fine
He's tried to make me go to rehab but I won't go go go

The man said 'why do you think you here'
I said 'I got no idea
I'm gonna, I'm gonna lose my baby
so I always keep a bottle near'
He said 'I just think you're depressed,
this me, yeah baby, and the rest'

They tried to make me go to rehab but I said 'no, no, no'
Yes I've been black but when I come back you'll know know know

I don't ever wanna drink again
I just ooh I just need a friend
I'm not gonna spend ten weeks
have everyone think I'm on the mend

It's not just my pride
It's just 'til these tears have dried

They tried to make me go to rehab but I said 'no, no, no'
Yes I've been black but when I come back you'll know know know
I ain't got the time and if my daddy thinks I'm fine
He's tried to make me go to rehab but I won't go go go

Come on Jose Luis!

I know you can do better than that. The text isn't so long and you have the first letter of the word (as well as the length of the word).

Have another go. The words that you got are correct.

Hi, Graham. How are things going?
I really like how this girl sang but it was a shame the way how she lived and how she managed her career. The public were right to boo her. Someone should have told her that she couldn’t sing in this way. I don’t like crowd so, I haven’t attended a lot of concerts but I’ve never happened anything like this.
I’ve seen the video but the woman spoke very fast and I’m not able to follow her. Nevertheless, here are my answers.

Hi Montse,

I'm doing OK. How's things with you? (NB I've used "how's" - grammatically incorrect but widely used).

I agree. She was incredibly talented but she met the inevitable end.

I don’t like CROWDS, so I haven’t BEEN TO / attended a lot of concerts but NOTHING LIKE THIS HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME.
