I really liked this post! It was very easy to understand.
Listening to a fellow countryman is very interesting. You could see here that strong accents are not important, whereas you have a fluid and rich English! But it is true that in the film "No country for old men" (he says in the interview that, during the shooting, he dreamed in English) he plays an american citizen and you don't notice his spanish accent!
Victoria Abril said that actors are like lawyers: you have to defend the characters you play. It is a really nice setence!
