Ghandi Quotes

"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated"

I like to think the above quote from Mahatma Ghandi is true.

Here are some more Ghandi quotes:
  • An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind.
  • In a gentle way, you can shake the world.
  • Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.
  • The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.
  • There is a sufficiency in the world for man's need but not for man's greed.

I know this Ghandi quote in Spanish language but I don’t Know in English language. I like animals and I think that we should treat as important as human because they are alive too and they can feel the same as human. I think of our behaving is wrong because we treat badly animals. One person is better if treat well when can treat badly because they can choose well things.
I think of Ghandi is a hero person because he got change many things and minds. They teach us we can resolve ours differences in peace, without violence and hate. He was a pacific man.

In animal protection we can do more because we haven’t still done all we can do. Animals have treated as things in industry, circus, investigation… and we should think that their life is theirs, they don’t life for ours.

Hi "Aran"!

I'm sorry it has taken so long for me to reply. I will be starting the blog again sometime next week.

I HAD HEARD OF this Ghandi quote in Spanish but I DIDN'T KNOW IT in English.

I like animals and I think that we should treat THEM as EQUALS because they are LIVING BEINGS too and they can feel the same as HUMANS.

I THINK our BEHAVIOUR is wrong because we treat animals BADLY.

One person is better if treated well when can treat badly because they can choose things well. (I'm not sure what you mean with this sentence)

I think of Ghandi AS a HERO because he CHANGED many things and minds. HE TAUGHT us we can resolve OUR differences in peace AND without violence OR hate. He was a pacific man.

WE CAN DO MORE IN TERMS OF ANIMAL PROTECTION because we STILL haven’t done all we can do. Animals ARE treated as things in industry, circus, investigation… and we should think that their life is theirs; they don’t LIVE for US.

I am glad to discover that, like me, you are also concerned for animal welfare!
