Hi Graham,

The Christmas displays of Madrid are good, but like almost all cities in the world. I like it. There is a lot of luminosity. This is the era when cities are the most beautiful of the year. Also, there are a lot of drunks around the street who drink white and rose wine, beer, pint of lager or cidre. The drunks said that drinking is good to sleep because unwinds in the evening.

I don´t like the Christmas decoration of Brussels, it´s horrible for me. Abstract decoration is like abstract painting. I don´t like this kind of painting. You have a post from 2012, how old is! I can see another about Boxing Day (26th December), but the incredible situation is with the robot which signs a Christmas carol. What robot! The song by Judy Garland is good but sad, we shouldn´t cry on Christmas. Anti-monarchists are so democratic, they don´t respect the opponent. If somebody said anything what doesn´t like them he must be condemned and if somebody criticises Spanish republicans must be condemned too, they are sheer democratic.

No advice for a party because any party is different, it´s depend on the place, people, time and several circumstances, in my opinion. I like to read dickens. I think that the title in Spanish is Christmas tale by Charles Dickens and I would like to read it if I had more time. The Italian Befana is a witch who delivers presents for good children and coal for bad children, like Santa Claus. It´s curious, it seems that the tradition of Christmas tree was started by an English priest in Germany and, after, it was transferred from Germany to the United Kingdom.

It´s very emotive a Christmas truce during the First WW. When the fog dissipated, English soldiers looked at German soldiers, each other, in the trenches. They met, shook hands, talked and swapped cigarettes. They stopped the war for a moment. The Scottish island of Faola won´t celebrate Christmas like the rest of the world because they had not changed the calendar like the rest. It´s fantastic, they live with the Julian calendar. I wonder if they were watching TV and if some of 30 inhabitants think about football and other things. They are going to lose some events, for instance, an eclipse because the astronomer sends date with our calendar.

See you.

Hello Josรฉ,

It seems you had a look at every tweet and link - that's impressive!

The Christmas displays in Madrid are good, much like most other cities around the world. I like them very much. There is a lot of light everywhere. This is the time of year<7/> when cities are at their most beautiful. There are also many drunk people in the streets drinking white and rosรฉ wine, beer, pints of lager, or cider. Drunks say that drinking helps them sleep because it helps them unwind in the evening.

I don’t like the Christmas decorations in Brussels; I find them horrible. Abstract decoration is like abstract painting, and I don’t like this kind of art. You have a post from 2012 — how old it is! I can see another one about Boxing Day (26th December), but the most incredible thing is the robot that sings a Christmas carol. What a robot! The song by Judy Garland is good but sad; we shouldn’t cry at Christmas. Anti-monarchists are supposedly very democratic, but they don’t respect their opponents. If somebody says something they don’t like, that person must be condemned, and if somebody criticises Spanish republicans, they must be condemned too. They consider themselves extremely democratic.

There is no single piece of advice for a party because every party is different; it depends on the place, the people, the time, and many other circumstances, in my opinion. I like reading Dickens. I think the title in Spanish is A Christmas Tale by Charles Dickens, and I would like to read it if I had more time. The Christmas truce during the First World War is very moving. When the fog dissipated, English and German soldiers looked at each other from their trenches. They met, shook hands, talked, and exchanged cigarettes. They stopped the war for a moment. The Scottish island of Foula doesn’t celebrate Christmas like the rest of the world because it did not change its calendar like everyone else. It is fascinating that they still live according to the Julian calendar. I wonder whether they watch TV and whether any of the 30 inhabitants think about football or other things. Apologies for most of the text being in bold. It takes ages to highlight everything and if I make one mistake everything appears in bold. Pfffff!
