"Why, Sir, you find no man, at all intellectual, who is willing to leave London. No, Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford." - Samuel Johnson

Have you ever been to London?

What did/didn't you like about it?

What was the highlight of your trip?

What memories do you have? What struck you most?

Would you like to live there? Why/why not?

Compare life in London to life in Madrid.

If you haven't been, would you like to go?

What would you like to do and see?

How do you imagine London?

Have you ever been to London?

Yes, 1 day the last summer

What did/didn't you like about it?

It's a very multicultural city, I was there in a saturday and were a lot of people walking by the sides of the Thames, I liked it.

What was the highlight of your trip?

All the trip was a new experience for me, but the most incredible place I think was the British Museum, so good museum and so cheap (it's free), I was the year before in Greece and you need to pay for all, and it's less good than the British Museum.

What memories do you have? What struck you most?

The entire journey, I was alone, and it's the perfect way to go and enjoy without have arguments about all the decisions.

Would you like to live there? Why/why not?

Yes, but I think it's so expensive, but in my case the Computer programmers earn more money (x2 - x3) than in Spain, and I think it's a good way to improve my english and work at the same time.

Joaquin!!!

How are things man?

Are you still snowed under with your thesis? Never mind, the end is in sight.

Have you ever been to London?

Yes, one day LAST summer.

I've been to London many times. I was only fourteen when I was there for the first time.

What did/didn't you like about it?

It's a very multicultural city, I was there ONE Saturday and THERE WERE a lot of people walking ALONG the BANKS of the Thames, I liked it.

I agree, it is a very vibrant city. On the other hand, it is on the stressful side. It takes ages to get from A to B and you need lots of pennies to live well there.

What was the highlight of your trip?

THE WHOLE trip was a new experience for me, but I THINK the most incredible place was the British Museum, SUCH A good museum and so cheap (it's free), I was IN GREECE THE YEAR BEFORE and you need to pay for EVERYTHING, and it ISN'T AS GOOD AS the British Museum.

What memories do you have? What struck you most?

I was alone THE ENTIRE JOURNEY and it's the perfect way to go and ENJOY YOURSELF (enjoy + object or + reflexive pronoun) WITHOUT HAVING (without + verbing)arguments about all the decisions.

Would you like to live there? Why/why not?

Yes, but I think it's so expensive, but in my case COMPUTER programmers earn more money TWO OR THREE TIMES MORE than in Spain, and I think it's a good way to improve my English (capital letter) and work at the same time.

You are just the guy that might be able to help me. Every time that I open the blog, there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in the bottom left hand corner. It warns me that there is an error in the page. I think it has something to do with Java Script. I never noticed it before and other things seem to go much slower when the blog is open.

Why Joaquin? Please tell me WHY!:-)

Good to see you in the blog again. Feel free to use it whenever.

I visited London two weeks ago and I liked it very much. It's a big and a multicultural city which offers lots of things to do and to visit.
The highlight of my trip was the architectural appearance of the city: buildings of the XIXth century and the most modern skyscraper living together in a spectacular skyline.

I feel like living there for a period of time. I would like to visit the whole city and to travel to other cities and towns in the UK to take advantage of this stay.

I agree that London has something for everyone. It's a vibrant city with a character all of its own.

It's important to remember that there is a lot more to England than London. I'd like to discover more of my neigbouring country too.

You have nothing to correct. Congratulations!
